Utah

Another long night with Daisy.  After accidents in the hotel room and hallway I elected to sleep with her in the van in the casino parking lot. You haven't lived until you've spent a Friday night in a casino parking lot: drunks, tires squealing, car alarms, public urination (ok that last one might have been me.)
I was up all night letting Daisy out while John slept soundly with Poppy in the hotel.
But the morning drive was gorgeous.

We ended up at Great Basin National Park.  We were the only ones there so we broke the law and did a short hike on a trail with the girls.

Vanessa climbed to the 8,000 foot elevation without complaint (thank you Eion).

Wheeler Peak in the park is the second highest in Nevada at 13063 feet.

We continued south to Utah and Zion National Park.  We went for miles without seeing anyone, except for this cyclist.

We passed thru open range for sheep and Poppy loved it.  Daisy slept.

Tonight we are camping at Zion National Park.  Lovely.
